Hailing from the visionary mind of Zack Snyder, the creative force behind 300, Man of Steel, and Army of the Dead, Rebel Moon unfolds as an epic science-fantasy saga decades in the making.
The narrative unfurls on the edge of a distant galaxy, where a peaceful colony faces imminent threat from the armies of tyranny.
Crash-landing on a remote moon in the farthest corners of the universe, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger with an enigmatic past, finds herself woven into the fabric of a serene farming settlement.
However, tranquility shatters when the tyrant Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his ruthless emissary, Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein), unearth the unwitting sale of crops to the Bloodaxes (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher) – leaders of the insurgent Bloodaxes, relentlessly pursued by the formidable Motherworld.
In a bid to protect the unsuspecting people of Veldt, Kora, and Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), a gentle-hearted yet war-naive farmer, set forth on a multi-world odyssey.
Their mission: to locate the Bloodaxes and assemble a motley crew of warriors bound by a shared quest for redemption.
Joining the ranks are Kai (Charlie Hunnam), a skilled pilot and mercenary; General Titus (Djimon Hounsou), a renowned commander; Nemesis (Doona Bae), a master swordswoman; Tarak (Staz Nair), a captive with a regal past; and Milius (E. Duffy), a valiant resistance fighter.
Meanwhile, Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins), an ancient mechanized protector, awakens on Veldt with newfound purpose.
Yet, for this newly formed alliance of rebels, trust and unity must be forged before the relentless armies of the Motherworld descend upon them, threatening annihilation.
